Hello! You may remember a previous review I need a little while ago on Hitting the Books, by Jenn McKinlay. Well, if you recall I really loved that book, even if it was a little later in the series. So I decided to buy the next one, called Word to the Wise! The author delivered some good action and romance to make this book totally worth reading. The only thing was that it wasn’t as suspenseful as other books I’ve read, but nevertheless, I still enjoyed the read.

Word to the Wise is a murder mystery in the Library Lover’s Mystery series about a librarian named Lindsey Norris. Things are going great as the days lead up to her wedding day, where she’ll marry Sully, her perfect fiance. But when a simple patron comes into the library for some information on roses and it turns into something else entirely, stakes begin to rise. The patron, Aaron Grady, recently moved into town with his wife. He later brings Lindsey roses as a thank you for helping him find some information, but the weirdness is just getting started. From a surprise late night visit to sending creepy messages, its clear Aaron Grady isn’t a simple library customer. Things escalate when Lindsey’s friends and Sully get evolved to save her from the stalking, but they won’t have to much longer… In the morning when Lindsey and her friend Robbie reach the library, they find Aaron sitting there waiting for them. The catch? He was murdered. The second catch? Sully, Lindsey’s soon-to-be husband, is the prime suspect. Now the woman is on the hunt for the killer, even if that means digging up Aaron’s questionable past. Will Lindsey be able to use her allies, stop Sully from being framed, and give the murderer justice, all in the same story? I guess you’ll just have to read Word to the Wise to find out!

Jenn Mckinlay has the perfect way of writing that makes me enjoy reading! I love this series and definitely will keep reading it! I hope if you try these books, you will as well! That’s it from me for today, but I’ll see you next time!
