The Whatever After series have always been one of my favorite series. The books are always not too short but not too long. And, these books are always told in the eyes of a older sister, so I think these books are excellent for girls that are  between 9-15 years old because these books show plenty of girl power. But when I read #6 Cold as Ice, I finally realized just how amazing these books really are. The Whatever After series is about this older sister named Abby and her younger brother named Jonah and when they move into a new house in Smithville they find out that they have a magic mirror in their basement! Soon,they discover that if you knock three times on the mirror at midnight, the mirror will suck them into a fairy tale! Each time they go in, it’s a different fairy tale. In book #6 Abby and Jonah go to the Snow Queen!
Only, they didn’t want to go, but they had to because their puppy, Prince, went through the magic mirror alone! And on top of that, the Snow Queen freezes him! Now, like they always do, they think they might have messed up the story!! To make things right again, they now have 3 tasks:

1. Defrost our puppy, Prince.
2. Ride a super chatty reindeer.
3. Escape from a band of robbers. Talk about triple trouble!
