The book I’m writing about today is a book called superfudge. This book is written by a very skilled writer, Judy Blume. Some of you may have heard of her and I happen to be a big fan of her writing. Anyway, Superfudge is about Peter Hatcher and his annoying little brother, Farley Drexel Hatcher (normally known as Fudge). Peter’s life is already miserable and right when he thinks that it can’t get any worse, he finds out that his mother is having a baby! Peter just knows that the baby will be just like Great Big Pain, Fudge Hatcher. Peter is basically about to dye when his mother and father had decided to move to New Jersey for a whole entire year! And, if they like it there, the Hatcher family will permanently move there! Now that is enough for Peter to pass out for real. He really doesn’t know whether or not he can survive the the birth of the baby and moving to New Jersey. I’m not sure if you know this or not, but Judy Blume has lots more books featuring Peter and Fudge Hatcher and she also writes a lot more books in different series as well including plenty of books for teenagers also. Judy Blume writes books for kids of all ages, that is one of the reasons why I like her so much. I absolutely love the Fudge books for many reasons, but the main reason why I love these books is because they are HILARIOUS! Judy Blume uses such awesome words in her books that really can make you laugh out loud! Something great about Fudge books is that those books are perfect to read alone, or perfect to read with family members.
