Hello! I have been re-reading the Roxbury Park Dog Club book series lately. Mission Impawsible is the first one in the series, and I really like it because it’s all about dogs, and so it’s the perfect book for somebody who is a big fan of cute little puppies, and that’s me! These books are full of girls coming up with amazing ideas, or solving problems, so it’s a great read for girls the ages of 8-12.

So, Roxbury Park Dog Club is a book series about three girls, and four in the last couple of books, who are in middle school, and required to do community volunteer work. The girls chose to do their work at the Roxbury Park Dog Shelter, and soon the three friends formed a Roxbury Park Dog Club, where dog owners can drop their dogs off at the shelter for the afternoon, and, for an additional fee, the girls, Kim, Sasha, Taylor, and, later on, Bri, will pick up the dogs on their way to the shelter. But how did the Roxbury Park Dog Club form? The first book in the series, told from Kim’s perspective, will tell you everything.

In Mission Impawsible, Kim and her best friend, Sasha, were planning to do their volunteer work together, at the dog shelter in their town. But then Sasha comes back from a month-long trip to Lake George with a new best friend, a girl named Taylor! And even worse, Taylor will be volunteering with Kim and Sasha, at the Roxbury Park Dog Shelter. Whenever all three of them are together, Sasha and Taylor laugh and talk together about the funny memories they made at Lake George, which makes Kim feel like the third wheel, not the best friend that’s known Sasha for years. But the thing that’s most horrible is the fact that the dog shelter is losing money, and the possibility of closing is high. But Kim, thanks to her brilliant idea of a dog club, and her amazing abilities with dogs, might just be able to make friends with Taylor, and save the shelter at the same time.

Another thing I like about this book is that it’s the start of a series, so if you like the book, you can always read more. In total, there is six books in the Roxbury Park Dog Club series. Two are from Kim’s perspective, two are from Sasha’s perspective, one is told by Taylor, and Bri, the newest girl in the club(read the last couple of books to get to know her), gets one book to tell her story. Anyway, if this book sounds like something you might take interest in, look into it. Who knows, maybe you’ll a new favorite book series! Bye!
