Oh, boy do I love a good fantasy book. They can transport you to a whole other world, one you couldn’t visit over the weekend or hop on an airplane to fly to. Fantasy worlds exist only in our imagination, and that’s what makes them so great. Down below, I’ve listed some books that you may have heard me talk about before, and if you have, it’s because they’re my favorite fantasy novels.

  1. Fablehaven by Brandon Mull – Okay, so this one is technically a series. But it’s so amazing I just had to put it in here. Two siblings are visiting their grandpa when they discover something that literally opens their eyes to a world hidden in plain sight. Do you enjoy adventures of family and suspense? The Fablehaven book series is the one for you, and don’t forget to check out the special sequel series, featuring all of your favorite characters, Dragonwatch. Complete Boxed Set of Series
  2. Wings of Fire by Tui T. Sutherland – Umm, how could I not mention one of my all time favorites?? The answer? I couldn’t. A blazing, amazing (yes, I made that rhyme on purpose) dragon world of clever conflicts and clever solutions, Wings of Fire has fifteen books of pure perfection, and you can read them all. These dragons will soar right into your heart while you read about they’re inspiring determination and feisty spirits. Trust me. Sutherland’s series is not one to be missed. Boxed Set of Books 1-5
  3. Phoebe and her Unicorn by Dana Simpson – If you are a graphic novel fan, than these are exactly that. Done with beautiful art by the author, this hilarious series is the perfect thing for a unicorn obsessed person. I seriously take so much pleasure in reading these. I’m not someone that usually laughs out loud at books, but these have made me multiple times. Sarcastic, lovable characters combine with real life problems (and some not-so-real ones, this is a fantasy book after all) to make the most enjoyable, pleasurable book series to read. If you aren’t already reading these, you should start. Phoebe and her Unicorn Volume One
  4. When You Trap a Tiger by Tae Keller – A heartwarming story of friends and family, this is not your traditional fantasy book with dragons and unicorns. Keller is introducing a magical tiger to the mix, and I gotta say, it makes for an amazing story. Though you’ll love the story in a whole, be careful because the ending might just happen to cause tears to fall. When You Trap a Tiger
  5. Ghost Squad by Claribel A. Ortega – Last but not least, I’ve decided to throw an OBOB book into this lovely mix of fun fantasy books. Two best friends must work together to save their town when they accidentaly recite a spell to wake the dead. Seeking help from a trusted family member, they have to hurry and end a vengeful ghost’s destructive streak before it’s too late. And they’d better hurry, because time is running out… Ghost Squad

Well, that’s it, but I hope you enjoyed the list of fantasy books, and I hope you benefit from it as well. See you next time.
