If You Like Dragons, be Sure to Check Out This Intriguing News!

About a year ago, I posted some exciting news that the 13th Wings of Fire book had came out. Well, this post is about 2 new Wings of Fire books that are coming out. One of these books has already came out, but it is super new. That one is the 4th graphic novel, called The Dark Secret. It has vibrant artwork done by Mike Holmes. And of course, written by the brilliant Tui T. Sutherland. How did she even come up with the idea of this wonderful series?! The 4th graphic novel is based on the 4th book in the series, but in graphic novel form. Personally, I like graphic novels better(all the beautiful pictures to look at!), but they definitely go by WAY faster. The second Wings of Fire book is the 14th and it’s called The Dangerous Gift. I am SO excited to read this book, but sadly, you have to pre-order it! If you want to just wait to order it until you don’t have to pre-order it, this book will be available sometime in early March. So, if you’re not familiar with the Wings of Fire series, I can give you a brief summary of what it’s about. As you might have figured out by now, there is 13 books in the series, soon to be 14! There is 4 graphic novels of of 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th books in the series, including the newest graphic novel, The Dark Secret. The first 5 books are about the Dragonets of Destiny and the Dragonet Prophecy, which is,

When the war has lasted twenty years….. the dragonets will come. When the land is soaked in blood and tears….. the dragonets will come. Find the Seawing egg of deepest blue. The next 5 books in the series are about different dragonets that are at Jade Mountain Academy, a school the Dragonets of Destiny formed once the war was over. Those 5 books also have a prophecy, called the Jade Mountain Prophecy. Then, the last 3 books in the series(almost 4!) are about a totally different continent and the dragons that live there. Those books also have a prophecy as well, which is called the Lost Continent Prophecy. Personally, I’m hoping that there will be 5 books for that prophecy as well.

All dragon fans, I would definitely recommend this series to you. I love how they are really long so you can read them for a while! And before I say goodbye, I’m going to give you a poem about the dragons of Pyrrhia, which is the continent the dragons live in before you reach the 11th book.
