Hello everyone! Today I’ll be telling you about a book that is in a series called Cupcake Diaries. This book is the tenth book in this delicious series written by Coco Simon. This book was literally AWESOME!!!! It really kept me on the edge of my seat at the end of every chapter. It did have me yelling at one of the characters though, but the book was so good, I didn’t mind that!

Before I start telling you about the book Mia’s Boiling Point, it might be helpful if I tell you a little bit about the Cupcake Club. The Cupcake Club consists of four middle school girls, Katie, Emma, Alexis, and Mia. When Katie started middle school she was a little scared, and her best friend went and joined the Popular Girls Club and totally dumped her! But everything ended up okay when she met three girls that ended up being her new best friends! Together they started a club and a business! Sweet! So, Mia’s Boiling Point is about Mia, and she is the fashionable girl in the group. Mia’s parents are divorced and she had to move out of Manhattan because her mom had remarried.  One morning, Mia notices a girl she doesn’t recognize standing by the door to the classroom. Mia starts talking with her, and finds out her name is Olivia Allen. When Mia finds out that Olivia doesn’t have a locker to put her stuff in, Mia offers to share hers. Olivia agrees, and a friendship starts to form. But Mia finds out that Olivia is really messy, and she’s starting to get on Mia’s nerves. Still, she continues to be friends with Olivia, knowing it’s awful to be the new kid. But when Olivia gets her own locker, she asks Mia to decorate it for her. Mia happily does it, but when Mia buys the stuff to decorate the locker, Olivia promises that she will pay Mia back, but she doesn’t. Mia isn’t sure how much longer this friendship will last.

Mia’s Boiling Point is a very thrilling book and you will be screaming at Olivia! I would say that Coco Simon is a very talented writer and I will definitely be reading more books in the series!
