Mystery Pups: Framed by Jodie Mellor is a very good book. I thought it was good from start to finish. I thought that it definitely showed excitement in some parts of the book but in some sections it was a little lacking it instead. See, it’s about these 3 kids, and 2 of them own dogs. The other one owns a stuffed animal dog. But when their dogs put on these special necklaces, the stuffed animal comes alive and all the dogs and girls are suddenly transported to a magical place called Sleuth City, where they have to uncover a thief that stole a valuable painting stolen from a famous singer. But they also have to make sure another man doesn’t get framed for stealing the painting when he didn’t actually steal it. I totally loved this book because it definitely had these three things in this masterpiece:

  1. Mysteries!
  2. Excitement!
  3. Dogs!

The only thing that I have to say that was not very appealing to me was how the book didn’t have much detail on the places they were traveling to. Another thing that was not my favorite thing was at a certain part of the book in Sleuth City, it says they found a summer house and decided to go to bed for the night. What confused me about that was because they don’t actually live in Sleuth City, so I’m very curious why they could sleep in a summer house without permission. But even with all the negative stuff in this book, it was a great book and I can’t wait to read the next ones in the series. This is definitely a book I could read over and over and over! Overall it was amazing! So congratulations to Jodie Mellor!
